Mac Mental started life as 'Mac Madness' (macmadness.co.uk) on June 20th 2006 by Zachary Burrows, who has used Macs since the mid-nineties. In his words, "I have wanted to have my own mac website for a long time, I thought of the name 'Mac Madness' and looked it up to see if it had already been bought. Once I discovered that no-one had the domain I bought it only minutes later, my first domain of my own".
On January 9th 2007 we converted to a .com domain but as macmadness.com was already purchased by someone else we changed our name to Mac Mental.
The site is ownered and primarily run by Zac, but aslo supported by many close friends and colleagues. Some of the biggerest helpers to the site are King Nintendoid, G-Force, Kamaki, Dodoria, Dragon & Lukeintosh.
We at Mac Mental aim to help as many Mac and iPod owners and hope you find our site useful and like it. And if you like what we do please consider donating via paypal so we can remain on the internet and keep growing.

Date format
Usually our dates will be set like this 25 Dec 2006, but sometimes we set out the date as 25/12/2006, that is Day/Month/Year format.
Required Codes
Our site relies on a few different codes, including HTML, javascript, PHP & CSS. We recommend if you don't have a computer/browser that supports all these codes that you upgrade.
